MEXICO CITY ? Police say officers responding to a report of an armed robbery killed three alleged bandits during a shootout at a restaurant in one of Mexico City's most affluent neighborhoods.
The capital city's police departments says several hooded men stormed into a restaurant in the Polanco district but a waitress called police.
In three minutes, 60 police officers arrived and shooting erupted. Three suspects were killed and another was detained in the Wednesday night attack.
Police said Thursday that no patrons or restaurant employees were wounded.
