TAMPA, Fla. (AP) ? A 17-ton haul of silver coins, lost for two centuries in the wreck of a sunken Spanish galleon, began its journey back to its home country on Friday after the deep-sea explorers who lifted it to the surface lost their claim to ownership.

Two Spanish military C-130 cargo planes took off after noon from a Florida Air Force base with 594,000 silver coins and other artifacts aboard. They were packed into the same white plastic buckets in which they were brought to the U.S. by Tampa, Fla.-based Odyssey Marine Exploration in May 2007.

"These are emotional and moving moments for me and all my colleagues behind me," Spain's ambassador to the United States, Jorge Dezcallar de Mazar, said Friday. He stood on the windy tarmac at MacDill Air Force base, flanked by an entourage of more than two dozen Spanish officials and others.

"History will make us who we are, and today we are witnessing a journey that started 200 years ago," he said. "This is not money. This is historical heritage."

The planes were expected to make two refueling stops and land about 24 hours later at one of two air force bases in Madrid in a high-security operation.

Odyssey made an international splash when it discovered the wreck, believed to be the Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes, off Portugal's Atlantic coast near the Straits of Gibraltar. At the time, the coins were estimated to be worth as much as $500 million to collectors, which would have made it the richest shipwreck haul in history.

The Mercedes was believed to have had 200 people aboard when it was sunk in 1804.

Spain went ahead with transporting the treasure despite a last-ditch, longshot claim to the treasure by Peru.

On Thursday, the Peruvian government made an emergency appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court seeking to block transfer of the treasure to give that nation more time to make arguments in federal court about its claim to being the rightful owner. But that appeal was denied Friday by Justice Clarence Thomas.

Peru had argued the gold and silver was mined, refined and minted in that country, which at the time was part of the Spanish empire.

U.S. courts had previously rejected claims by descendants of the Peruvian merchants who had owned the coins aboard the Mercedes.

Peru's ambassador to the United States, Harold Forsyth, said the nation would seek redress in Spain via diplomatic channels.

"The ship departed from the port of Callao (adjacent Lima) with a cargo of coins minted in Peru, extracted from Peruvian mines with arms and sweat of Peruvians," he said.

Peru did not gain its independence until 1824, but its lawyers have argued that it was more than a simple colony, being the local seat of the Spanish crown, when the treasure-laden ship was sunk two decades earlier.

Peruvian cultural authorities say their country's legal case would have been stronger if it had signed the 2001 U.N. Convention on the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage, which states that countries of origin have priority in deciding the fate of cultural artifacts found in shipwrecks.

Odyssey ? which uses a remote-controlled submersible to explore the depths and bring the tiniest of items to the surface ? had previously argued that it was entitled to all or most of the treasure. The Spanish government filed a claim in U.S. District Court soon after the coins were flown back to Tampa, contending that it never relinquished ownership of the ship or its contents. A federal district court first ruled in 2009 that the U.S. courts didn't have jurisdiction, and ordered the treasure returned.

Odyssey had argued that the wreck was never positively identified as the Mercedes. And if it was that vessel, the company contended, then the ship was on a commercial trade trip ? not a sovereign mission ? at the time it sank, meaning Spain would have no firm claim to the cargo. International treaties generally hold that warships sunk in battle are protected from treasure seekers.

Odyssey lost every round in federal courts trying to hold on to the treasure, as the Spanish government painted them as modern-day pirates plundering the nation's cultural heritage.

The company has blamed politics for the courts' decisions since the U.S. government publicly backed Spain's efforts to get the treasure returned. In several projects since then, Odyssey has worked with the British government on efforts to salvage that nation's sunken ships, with agreements to share what it recovers. Company officials said the ruling against them may lead to other deep-sea explorers refusing to share information about their claims with governments. They declined to comment further Friday.

Odyssey has said in earnings statements that it has spent $2.6 million salvaging, transporting, storing and conserving the treasure. But it is not expected to receive any compensation from the Spanish government for recovering it because the European nation has maintained that the company should not have tried to do so in the first place.

"I would expect that the companies would respect historical heritage and respect the law of the sea," Dezcallar de Mazar said. "And the law of the sea states that no matter how (much) times goes by, a sunken man-of-war belongs to the flag."

In Madrid, the Spanish Culture Ministry recently said the coins are classified as national heritage and must stay inside that country, where they will be exhibited in one or more Spanish museums. It ruled out the idea of the treasure being sold to ease Spain's national debt in a country grappling with a 23 percent jobless rate and a stagnant economy.

On a Tweet chat I attended, there were a couple hundred participants, and although about 50 voices dominated, the others had their says too. The discussion went well past the cut-off time.

The 2-day event was in invitation to 30 or so bloggers and journalists,? with family travel content experience. The blend of the traditional writer with Internet content creators was a wise move because the two groups learned from each other and provided differing viewpoints.

What was it like?

First, the Omni Berkshire was a clever choice of venue because it?s a smart hotel. The spacious rooms and cleverly designed spaces with accessible outlets, imaginative use of fabrics and plants is friendly and efficient.

There was a workshop on honing writing skills led by veteran family travel writer and syndicated columnist, Eileen Ogintz,? and Pulitzer prize nominee, Cindy Richards, who teaches at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Kim Orlando, an indefatigable blogger and entrepreneur drove the Twitter dinner, which was more a live Tweet event than an? actual dinner. But it was more fun than most of? the conference dinners I?ve attended.

After a video workshop (Presenting Yourself: Ledes and Hooks),? participants scattered throughout the hotel, smart phones and video cameras in hand, and created on-the-spot content ranging from an inside look at the hotel?s kitchen, to tips from housekeeping on making a room look like new.

When the dust settles,? we probably were participating in the first of many such workshops about family travel, technology, monetizing content and? community.

What I found refreshing,? more so than conferences with top brass from from Google , Amazon and other legacy companies, was the openness and enthusiasm.

These ?mompreneurs? combine humor with a depth of practical, real-world travel knowledge, and they make it all accessible by sharing.

With family travel a huge,? fast-growing niche ( 4.5 trips a year; 67% saying kids are never too old to travel with), this fast-talking cohort may well set the standard for online activity? and enviable sponsorships.

The Madison Square Garden Co. said Friday it had reached a tentative deal to put Knicks games back on television for some 2 million Time Warner Cable subscribers in the New York area. New York state officials and the NBA had pressured the companies to settle.

A dispute over fees had left subscribers unable to watch the Knicks since Jan. 1, meaning they couldn't tune in to watch the undrafted point guard from Harvard come off the bench to lead the team to seven straight wins and a 15-15 record. Fans complained and called for a quick resolution.

One state official close to the negotiations said Lin's phenomenal run forced the deal, along with the recent play of the Rangers, whose hockey games are also carried on the MSG network.

NBA Commissioner David Stern stepped in over the last two days, telling the sides how important it was to get Lin back on TV for both parties, for the league and for basketball itself, said one person close to the talks who requested anonymity.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo called each company's top executives in the last two days, according to another state official. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because negotiations were private. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said he had been working for a month to shepherd the companies toward agreement.

"I thank them for being responsive to the needs of New Yorkers," Cuomo said in a statement.

"Hallelujah," said Norman Siegel, a civil rights lawyer who wrote to the companies Friday to complain. "We can all watch and experience this evolving story."

The deal came just as the Knicks prepared to host the New Orleans Hornets Friday night.

A hurricane of "Linsanity" has swirled around the breakthrough 23-year-old, who was born in Palo Alto, Calif., to Taiwanese parents.

His play has helped lift the stock of The Madison Square Garden Co., which owns the Knicks and the MSG network that carries their games. On Friday, shares closed up 98 cents, or 3.1 percent, at $32.85.

The company's stock is up more than 11 percent since Lin stepped off the bench Feb. 4 and posted his first professional 25-point game.

An explosion of interest from fans around the world has resulted in a big ratings boost wherever Knicks games have been shown, including on Sina.com, the NBA's official website partner in China. The NBA has only one other Asian player, Hamed Haddadi, an Iranian who plays limited minutes for the Memphis Grizzlies.

ESPN had its biggest regular-season Friday night audience so far this season ? 34 percent above the average with 3 million viewers ? when Lin outscored Kobe Bryant with 38 points to beat the Lakers on Feb. 10.

MSG network has seen ratings more than triple since his breakout Feb. 4 game, according to Nielsen, even with the games blacked out to Time Warner Cable subscribers who account for about a fifth of more than 10 million people who get MSG.

Lin jerseys have been the top-selling jerseys at NBAStore.com for the last couple weeks, and they've now been shipped to 23 countries. Most buyers are in the U.S. and Canada; Taiwan, China and Australia round out the top five destinations. Fathead posters of Lin and trading cards are also flying out the door.

The new TV deal means higher advertising revenue and higher fees per subscriber for Madison Square Garden. The companies had been at loggerheads over what Time Warner Cable said was a demand for a 53 percent fee hike. MSG has said that claim was "simply incorrect."

While New Yorkers are especially possessive of their new star, his performances have helped fill sports bars and win fans around the world.

"The last time I was a Knicks fan was when Patrick Ewing was playing," said Tim Chen, a 25-year-old accountant who showed up at the Barney's Beanery sports bar near the UCLA campus in Los Angeles to catch the Knicks game Wednesday night. "It's been all Lin all week. People just overlooked him."

		Cisco Systems (CSCO) is expected to report Q2 earnings after the market close on Wednesday, February 8, with a conference call scheduled for 4:30 pm ET. The consensus estimate is 43c for EPS and $11.23B for revenue, according to First Call. Cisco underwent a massive corporate overhaul last year, which involved layoffs and widespread restructuring, in an attempt to get back on track. Now leaner, Cisco says all the upheaval is paying off. Optimists await what they expect will be further signs of recovery from the networking giant. Wall Street expects Cisco to report a stable quarter, buoyed in part by improving enterprise demand in the U.S. Options activity also hints at high expectations for Cisco's quarterly report. But, in five of the past six quarters, Cisco stock has been hit hard after not living up to expectations. The whisper number is set a bit higher, arriving at earnings of 46c per share. Investors will be closely monitoring Cisco's results for evidence that the switch maker is fighting off rivals such as Juniper Networks (JNPR), which cut its Q4 forecast last month on weakness in the U.S. service provider market, and from Hewlett-Packard (HPQ). Guidance from its last earning calls is for Q2 revenue of approximately $11.14B-$11.24B, or 7%-8% growth year-over-year. Cisco also sees Q2 GAAP pre-tax charges of up to $100M, adjusted operating margin 26%-27%, and a non-GAAP tax provision rate of approximately 22%. Sterne Agee's Shaw Wu also expects good Q2 numbers as, "Checks indicate stable demand trends -- in terms of product segments." Wu explained that product refreshes, such as the new versions of Cisco's Catalyst and Nexus switches, are helping boost sales. Consensus for Q3: 45c on $11.46B in revenue. Consensus for FY12: $1.677/$45.83B. Consensus for FY13: $1.94/$48.65B. Expectations are for a post-earnings move of about 6% for Cisco shares, up or down, based on Tuesday's activity of weekly options that expire on Friday. This is below the average 10% move for the past four quarters. 		Jim Cramer said that now's the time to 'tip-toe' back into the markets, not run for the exits. Cramer said it's true that the markets have been up six weeks in a row, but that doesn't mean that investors need to worry about bubbles. Cramer said he hears the calls of a bubble in tech stocks, but with bellwethers like Intel (INTC) and Microsoft (MSFT) trading at just 10X earnings, a fraction of what they were just a few years ago, how can that be a bubble? He said that even Apple (AAPL) trades at just 7X earnings after backing out the company's nearly $100B in cash. Some have called a bubble in retail, but Walmart (WMT) still trades below where it did a decade ago. The same is true with the oil stocks, with companies like Exxon-Mobil (XOM) and Chevron (CVX) both trading at super-low valuations. Cramer recalled how he received hate mail after endorsing the Google (GOOG) IPO at $80 a share, only to see that company double and double and double again. Cramer explained that with 840M active users of Facebook, there's no denying that retail demand for this IPO will be huge. However with so few shares available, just about all of those investors will be forced to buy in the aftermarket. He said if shares double on the IPO, it's likely that the valuation would be too high and investors should sell no matter what. If shares rise only slightly however, it's possible that shares of Facebook would be worth holding onto. EXECUTIVE DECISION: Cramer once again welcomed with Jack Hartung, CFO of Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG), a stock that dipped 2% after it reported a 2c earnings miss on a 23% rise in revenues. Shares of Chipotle are up 650% since Cramer first got behind the company six years ago. Cramer told viewers that the dip in Chipotle's stock price is the perfect buying opportunity and they should stick with the company. Cramer also sat down with Irvin Simon, chairman, president and CEO of Hain Celestial (HAIN), which delivered a 3c earnings beat on a 33% gain in revenues form last year. Shares of Hain have returned 129% since Cramer first recommended it in April 2010. Cramer remained bullish on Hain. Then, Cramer spoke with David Pyott, chairman, president and CEO of Allergan (AGN), a stock that got hammered down 3% after the company reported only in-line sales and earnings. Pyott was bullish on his company's flagship product, Botox, and on the outlook for some of their drugs in the pipeline -- including ones for overactive bladder.
